More Than Documents—A Plan for the People You Love
Estate planning is not only for the wealthy or retired. It is how adults decide who can act for them, who should care for minor children, and how property should pass.
We begin with a conversation about your family, assets, decision-makers, and concerns. Then we design coordinated documents in plain language and help you understand the practical steps that make the plan work.
A plan should fit your life—not a template.
Online forms cannot ask follow-up questions, spot conflicting ownership and beneficiary designations, or explain the consequences of each choice. We help you make informed decisions and leave your family a usable roadmap.
Start Your PlanCoordinated Documents for Life and Legacy
The right combination depends on your family and property. We explain what each tool does and how the pieces work together.
Revocable Living Trusts
Direct how trust assets are managed during incapacity and distributed after death, with privacy and continuity in mind.
Wills & Guardians
Name beneficiaries, nominate guardians for minor children, and coordinate the will with the rest of your plan.
Durable Powers of Attorney
Choose a trusted person to handle financial and legal matters if you cannot act for yourself.
Advance Health Care Directives
Name a health care agent and record preferences to guide medical decisions during incapacity.
Trust Funding & Property Transfers
Identify assets that should be retitled or coordinated so the plan operates as intended.
Firearms Trusts
Plan for lawful ownership, management, and transfer of regulated firearms with specialized guidance.
Who Should Consider Estate Planning?
You may benefit from a plan if you own a home, have children or dependents, share property with a partner, own a business, want to support a loved one carefully, or simply want trusted people to make decisions if you become unable to do so.
- Parents choosing guardians and financial caretakers for children
- Homeowners seeking an organized transfer strategy
- Blended families balancing different relationships and responsibilities
- Business owners planning for continuity and access
- Adults of any age choosing financial and health care agents
Life Changes. Your Documents Should Keep Up.
Review your estate plan after major changes such as marriage, divorce, a birth or adoption, a death in the family, a move, a significant purchase or sale, a new business, or a change in the people you trust to serve.
Even without a major event, periodic review can catch outdated addresses, successor choices, asset titles, and beneficiary designations.
Already have a plan?
Bring your existing documents to a consultation. We can discuss whether they still reflect your wishes and current circumstances.

Do I need a will, a trust, or both?
That depends on your property, family, goals, and how assets are titled. A revocable living trust and a will often serve different but coordinated purposes. We review your circumstances and explain which documents fit.
Can a living trust help avoid probate?
A properly created and funded trust may allow assets held in the trust to pass outside a court probate proceeding. Assets left outside the trust, beneficiary designations, joint ownership, debts, and other factors can change the analysis.
Can I name a guardian for my children?
A will is commonly used to nominate a guardian for minor children. Because a court ultimately evaluates the child’s best interests, it is important to choose thoughtfully and name backups.
What happens if I become incapacitated?
A durable power of attorney can authorize someone to manage covered financial matters, while an advance health care directive can name a person to make medical decisions. The documents should reflect your preferences and coordinate with the rest of the plan.
How often should I update my estate plan?
Review it after major family, financial, health, or legal changes and periodically even when life seems stable. A review does not always require an amendment, but it confirms that the plan and asset coordination remain current.
What should I bring to an estate planning consultation?
A general list of assets and debts, current beneficiary designations, names of possible decision-makers, existing estate documents, and your questions are helpful. We can tell you what additional details are needed after the first conversation.
